Executive Director

Robyn Faucy is honored to serve as the Executive Director of the Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson's. The Foundation is dedicated to providing education, support and information to persons affected by Parkinson’s Disease and their caregivers. Robyn has held leadership roles with American Cancer Society, Sylvan Learning Centers, and most recently the Education Foundation of Sarasota County.

Robyn comes to the organization with an impressive mix of academics, leadership and organizational leadership that includes fundraising, capacity-building, and synergistic partnership development. She is a member of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce’s 2016 Leadership Sarasota program. Outside of work Robyn enjoys being near the water, living an active lifestyle and spending time with her loved ones. Her greatest accomplishment and pride and joy is her 15 year old son Armando who is, in her words, her athletic scholar.

As NCF’s Care Advisor Jennifer gets to do just what her title says: care. Building trusting relationships of HOPE and opportunity is what truly makes this wife, mother of 4, friend and lifelong Bradenton-Sarasota resident happy. After more than 10 years of dedicated experience in guiding those in need through life-enhancing medical care and resources, this role strikes the perfect balance of sense of family, support and service for patients and their families as they weather the challenges of Parkinson’s Disease.

Program Manager

Prior to her position at Neuro Challenge, Carisa has had long-standing careers in mental health and pharmaceuticals.

Carisa became a volunteer with Neuro Challenge Foundation in 2012, and the following year accepted a full-time position as the South Sarasota and Charlotte Counties Care Advisor for Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s. She is nationally certified as a Health Coach, Personal Trainer and Spinning Instructor; and is a graduate of the 2016 class of Leadership Sarasota County.

Carisa is committed to the pursuit of health through sound nutrition and exercise, and helps our Parkinson’s community find programs and services that will improve their physical and mental well-being.

Sara Weinberg, BA French

Sara Weinberg, BA French

Operations Manager

Sara graduated Rutgers College with a BA in French and a minor in secondary education. Her intention was to become a high school French teacher but instead she moved to New York City where she had a long career in the wine industry. Sara originally came to NCF as a volunteer because her husband is a Parkinson’s fighter. Sara brings her organizational expertise and diverse office skills to the NCF team and is especially honored to help NCF’s patients and families in their journey through Parkinson’s.

Karla Brody, MSSW (Master of Science in Social Work)

Karla Brody, MSSW (Master of Science in Social Work)

Sarasota County Care Advisor

Karla is honored to have been selected as the newest member of the Neuro Challenge team as a part-time Care Advisor. Prior to this appointment, her career background included positions with several non-profit organizations in Florida and Tennessee. Her areas of specialty include elder care and mental health services and advocacy, as well as volunteer management.

Outside of work, Karla enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, reading, and volunteering at Nate’s Honor Rescue. Her immediate family includes her husband Marc and their rescue dog, Gracie, as well as two adult sons who reside outside the southwest Florida area.
